Easy Config
The Easy Config sub-section is part of the Configuration card on the Dashboard. It provides a one-click way to apply the recommended security configuration preset.
What Easy Config does
Easy Config applies a predefined set of recommended values to the SecurityCheck Pro settings. It is designed to help new users reach a solid baseline security posture immediately after installation, without having to configure each option manually.
The preset covers the main Web Firewall configuration options, session protection settings, and .htaccess protection rules. Settings that are site-specific (such as exception lists, IP addresses, and redirect URLs) are not modified by Easy Config.
Status chip
The sub-section header shows a status chip:
- Applied (green) - the recommended preset is currently in effect. The action button changes to Apply Default Config, allowing you to revert to factory defaults.
- Not Applied (dark) - the preset has not been applied. The action button is Apply Easy Config.

Clicking Apply Default Config resets settings to their original installed values, which may include disabling protections that were active. Review your configuration after using this option.
