Clean Tmp Directory

The Clean Tmp Directory tool completely empties the Joomla tmp folder. This folder is used by Joomla to download and extract compressed files, and temporary files are sometimes not deleted after the operation completes, causing the folder to grow over time.

To clean the tmp directory, open the Maintenance menu in the SecurityCheck Pro toolbar and click Clean Tmp Directory. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
